WW2 food rations
This site has been developed to help you learn about life in World War Two. There are many links which will be useful for your work which we will be covering in class but also others which will give you additional information about Britain during World War Two.
During World War Two the people of Britain suffered incredible hardships:
- children were evacuated away from their parents
- large parts of the country were torn apart by the bombing
- food, clothing and other essential item were rationed
- many people lost family members and friends as they were killed in fighting, bombing or as a result of suffering from difficult conditions
We will not forget this difficult time for the country.
